From title contenders like UNC and UVA to rising squads like Syracuse and Wake Forest, this year's lineup of student-athletes reveals how deeply rooted the ACC is in excellence, development, and international recruitment.
ATLANTIC COAST CONFERENCE (ACC) – COLLEGE ROSTERS 2025
In 2024, the University of North Carolina claimed the ACC Championship title and closed the season ranked No. 2 in the NCAA standings. Despite falling short in the NCAA semifinals against Saint Joseph’s, UNC remains the conference's benchmark of success. Other ACC teams also left their mark nationally—Virginia ranked fourth in the NCAA, Boston College seventh, and Duke eighth—proving that ACC programs are among the strongest in the country. International representation plays a vital role across the conference rosters. Stanford stands out as the most internationally diverse team, with 17 international players on their 2025 squad. Their global roster is distributed across all class years: three freshmen, four sophomores, three juniors, six seniors, and one graduate student. Stanford’s reliance on experienced international talent gives them a unique identity and positions them as a fascinating team to watch. Syracuse follows closely with 14 international athletes, also evenly spread across the roster. The Orange feature four freshmen, four juniors, two seniors, and four graduate players. Syracuse continues to establish itself as a program that effectively integrates global skillsets into a highly competitive team dynamic. Cal Berkeley, with another group of 14 international players, mirrors Syracuse in depth, featuring four freshmen, four sophomores, two juniors, two seniors, and two graduate students. Their diversity fuels their progressive style of play and continues to boost their national profile—they ended 2024 ranked No. 32 in the NCAA. Wake Forest is building with a focus on international freshmen, welcoming five first-year international players as part of a total of 10 internationals. Alongside three sophomores and two juniors, this strong core of underclassmen signals a long-term vision for the Demon Deacons, who closed last season ranked 26th nationally. Boston College, which ranked No. 7 in 2024, brings a smaller yet experienced group of six international players, including three seniors, two juniors, and one freshman. Their veteran leadership and ACC pedigree make them a consistent threat in the postseason. Duke, a top-eight team nationally in 2024, has six international players as well, including three freshmen, two sophomores, and one graduate student. Duke maintains a balanced approach to recruitment, and their international athletes complement an already strong domestic core. Louisville enters 2025 with five international players, split among all class years: one freshman, one sophomore, two juniors, and one senior. The Cardinals finished last season at No. 35 in the NCAA rankings and will look to their global recruits for an extra push in the coming months. UNC, the ACC’s defending conference champion, takes a more selective approach with international talent. Their 2025 roster includes three international players: one freshman, one junior, and one senior. Known for developing U.S. national team members, UNC balances domestic dominance with strategic global additions. Virginia (UVA) follows a similar path with three internationals as well—one each in the freshman, sophomore, and junior classes. UVA's steady performance at No. 4 in the NCAA rankings reflects both strong recruiting and consistent development. Whether it’s UNC seeking redemption, Stanford unleashing global firepower, or Wake Forest nurturing a new wave of talent, the 2025 season promises high-intensity matchups, breakout stars, and compelling storylines. The ACC is not only a conference of champions—it's a conference of global excellence. Please Check out the ACC Official Schedule Season 2025 FH College Path
